Baby Gift Donations Volunteers

• Provide items needed for baby bags by using your network to get items donated from various organizations. Needed items include baby bottles, bibs, blankets, one-sies, diapers, etc.

• Silent Auction Items
  Send email requests to possible donors of items or gift certificates. We will provide email copy and list of places to contact. Track all requests and responses.

• Spread the Word
  Research and contact web-sites/organizations that support non-profit donations instead of gifts such as wedding donations instead of favors to guests. Find web-sites that will include a link to our site on theirs.

• Supplies Volunteers
  Research and find donors of needed supplies such as birthday gift bags, ribbons, printing of flyers, office supplies, etc.

Executive Team Members
Join an energetic team that is helping to raise funds for Radiant Baby. Assist in developing and implementing fundraising plans and events. Approx. 4 hours per month. Contact drbonniejean@RadiantBaby.org.

In-Kind Donation Team Members
Join a new Radiant Baby volunteer team that will work to secure donations of baby items from various corporations which are distributed to shelters and food shelves for less fortunate children. Team members will use phone calls, emails and contacts to obtain donations. Flexible schedule. Work from your home or office, 1-2 hours per week. Contact drbonniejean@RadiantBaby.org.

Grant Researcher - Virtual Volunteer Opportunity
Assist in researching grant funding possibilities. Use the web to find new sources of potential income for Radiant Baby. Time commitment is flexible. Contact drbonniejean@RadiantBaby.org. Public Relations Professional
Looking for an experienced Public Relations Professional to develop and implement PR plans for our unique nonprofit. Goal is to raise awareness of this unmet need and generate funds to support it. A year-long commitment preferred. Contact drbonniejean@RadiantBaby.org.
Fundraising Team Members
Ask your contacts to donate $10 online at www.radiantbaby.org (the cost of a birthday gift bag for one child). Ask them to forward request to others.

• Ask restaurants or stores to donate a portion of one days sales and make it a "Radiant Baby Day."

• Collect "Change for Radiant Baby" or ask local stores to collect for you.

• Ask your contacts to donate $10 online at www.radiantbaby.org (the cost of a birthday gift bag for one child). Ask them to forward request to others.

• Plan a birthday party and instead of buying gifts, ask each person to make a donation in honor of the birthday person (can be a virtual birthday party).

• Implement creative fundraising ideas.
  

Birthday Bag Blitz Volunteers
Any group (civic, corporate, church, school, family or friends) can hold a Baby Bag Blitz at your location to provide birthday gift bags for disadvantaged children. Each person brings small new items (baby bottles, booties, bibs, etc.) ages 0-12 months, then gets together in a group to assemble the Baby Bags by placing items in each diaper bag and delivers them to a nearby shelter or food shelf. This is a unique fun activity for all ages!

We'll provide a list of items to include and supplement your collection if necessary.
